RENTAL TERMS OF SERVICE
Both parties agree to the terms and conditions set on this contract.
1. PAYMENT, CANCELLATIONS or REFUNDS:
a. All rental orders will be invoiced after items have been picked up. Payment for rental items must be made within the week of renting or before rental items have been re- turned. A 3% late fee will be charged for any invoices that remain unpaid after 30 days.
b. All rental orders must be cancelled with at least 7 days notice prior to the pick-up date. Late cancellations are subject to a 10% service charge.
c. If for whatever reason there is an issue with the item(s) you have rented, 24 notice must be given with a photograph and explanation before a refund can be given. If the fault is lies with The Local Flower Collective, you will be entitled to a full refund.
2. OPERATING HOURS:
a. All rentals must be picked up and dropped off within operating hours. See your Buyers Guide or Growers Guide for these details. If you request an alternate pick-up or drop-off time 48 hours notice must be given to see if we can accommodate you.
b. Additional hours spent waiting on rental pick-ups and drop-offs will be billed at $50/hr.
c. Rentals are offered Wednesday-Wednesday and must be returned by 10:00am.
3. DELIVERY and PICK UP:
a. Upon arrival at 177 McCormack St., members will temporarily park their car/van in the loading space outside The Collective studio, Unit 104. If the loading space is occupied, members can utilize available street parking. The Collective takes no responsibility for parking tickets issued to member vehicles parked illegally during pick up and drop off. Street parking on McCormack St. is free.
There is NO PARKING allowed in the two spots closest to the entrance of Studio A (Unit 104).
b. The Collective has two parking spaces and temporary parking along the retaining wall on the east side of the parking lot and underneath the sign. Please do not block any other cars or neighbouring units.
c. The Collective is not responsible for damage or theft to vehicles or vehicle contents while delivering and/or picking up from The Collective.
4. RENTALS:
a. Any rental products rented through The Collective are the responsibility of the renter.
b. All rental items much be cleaned and in their original condition before retuning them to The Collective. Failure to do so will result in a 20% late fee and the renter will be charged for another full week of rental until them items have been returned in proper condition. WE OFFER NO CLEANING SERVICE.
c. All rental items must be returned in their original boxes or containers. Failure to do so will result in an 20% service charge OR the renter can return the item(s) in a replacement box or container of equal size and quality. $25 fee will be charged for unreturned milk crates.
d. If items are lost or not returned, the renter is required to pay full price for the replacement. If items need to be purchased in bulk (eg. votives), the renter is required to pay for the bulk price for the replacement.
5. All prices listed on the Rental website are inclusive of HST (13%).
6. RENTAL WEBSITE:
Only members of The Local Flower Collective are given permission to use and rent from our Rental website. If a member has forwarded or shared the site to a non-member, it will result in revoking the membership without a refund.
PERMITTED USE OF MEMBERSHIP:
The Collective has the sole discretion to select who will participate in The Collective and its membership benefits. Members shall not assign, share, split and/or sell either the whole or any part of their membership or benefits with any party who has not entered into a Contract directly with The Collective, unless otherwise approved.
