Here we have gathered answers to frequently asked questions regarding our Workshop offerings. For general FAQ, please refer to our FAQ Page.
✶
What will I learn in this workshop?
Our workshops will explore the beauty of local flowers and guide you through arranging them in our floral design style. The class is broken into two sections: information about local flowers and the varieties included in the workshop class, and an instructional design guide walking you through our design process.
Do I need any prior experience with flowers or floral arranging?
Absolutely not! Beginners are welcomed.
What materials will be provided, and what should I bring?
We will be providing all materials required for the class you have selected.
How long does the workshop last?
Our workshops are 2 hours in length.
Will I get to take home what I make during the workshop?
Absolutely!
Are refreshments or snacks provided during the workshop?
No, they are not. You are welcome to provide (non-alcoholic) refreshments and snacks for your group, as long as you clean up after yourself.
Can I bring my own flowers or materials if I have something specific in mind?
No, you may not. Everything will be provided.
Is there an age requirement for participants?
The youngest eligible participant should be 13 years of age, as we are working with sharp tools in the class.
Will there be a demonstration, or will it be hands-on instruction?
A combination of both!
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my attendance?
Cancellations within the terms on our Workshop Contract will be mitigated by our admin team. Rescheduling is an option as long as plenty of notice is given - this is also covered in the Contract. Rescheduling a workshop that has been paid in full will take the form of a transferrable credit.
Is there parking available near the workshop location?
We are only able to offer street parking as a majority of the spaces in our parking lot belong to other tenants.
Will there be opportunities for questions and one-on-one assistance during the workshop?
Absolutely!
Are there any safety precautions I should be aware of when working with flowers?
Prior to the class, please inform our team of any allergies your participant group may have. We do have gloves we can offer to help prevent any irritation from flowers, however, since our flowers are grown without the use of pesticides, skin irritation is uncommon!
Will I receive any written materials or resources to take home with me?
Our classes do not include written material, but you are more than welcome to take notes!
